Indian Oil Educational Scholarship Scheme 2015


Indian Oil provides 600 scholarships for students pursuing professional courses (Engineering–300 Nos., MBBS-200) under Indian Oil Educational Scholarship Scheme 2015. The scholarships under Indian Oil Educational Scholarship Scheme 2015 will be proportionately distributed zone-wise based on Number of students who appeared for 12th Standard examination during 2014-15. Students pursuing full time/regular courses schools, colleges, Institutions recognized by MCI / AICTE / State Education Boards/State Technical Education Boards / ICSE / ISC / CBSE will be eligible to apply for Indian Oil Educational Scholarship Scheme 2015.

Tata Scholarship


Tata scholarship is provided by the Tata Education and Development Trust which is a philanthropic affiliate of India’s Tata Group. Tata Scholarship has established a $25 million endowment to provide financial aid to undergraduate students from India. The Tata Scholarship Fund will support 20 scholars and will ensure that the Indian students complete higher education regardless of their financial circumstances. Tata scholarship is awarded annually and the recipients will receive the scholarships for the duration of their undergraduate studies. Ratan Tata is a Cornell trustee and the former chairman of Tata Sons which is the holding company of the Tata Group, one of India’s oldest and largest business conglomerates. Mr. Tata is one of the most respected business leaders in the world and has received many prestigious honors recognizing his impact through his work and philanthropy.

To receive the Tata undergraduate scholarship a recipient must be a citizen of India and also have attended secondary school in India. The recipient should be offered admission to Cornell as an undergraduate student. Again he should belong to weak financial background for financial aid. Preference for Tata Scholarship will be given to qualified students accepted to the College of Architecture, Art, and Planning, Engineering, Applied Economics and Management, Agriculture and Life Sciences, biological sciences, physical sciences, and social sciences. Undergraduate students will be eligible for Tata Scholarship if they have completed the admission application and have applied for financial aid. ICCR Scholarship 2015


The Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR), Government of India provides these scholarships to meritorious Bangladeshi nationals for the academic session 2015-16 to pursue various courses in India at the Under Graduate level.

Candidates applying for this scholarship are required to have proficiency in English and should have secured minimum 60 per cent marks in the qualifying examination. The application forms for this scholarship along with further information can be downloaded from the website www.hcidhaka.gov.in . Candidates applying for this scholarship would have to download and fill it. The application form should be typed and not hand written. Now sign the application form and e-mail it as a pdf file documents to the HCI Dhaka (attedu@hcidhaka.gov.in), AHCI, Chittagong (consular@colbd.net) and AHCI, Rajshahi (hoc.rajshahi@mea.gov.in) along with other required attachments. Applicants have to submit hard copies of the application forms with supporting documents, at the time of interview along with 6 passport size photographs.

TOEFL Scholarship Program in India


TOEFL Scholarship Program in India is open to any student residing in India who wants to pursue undergraduate degree program between August 2014 and December 2015 at a college or university listed in the TOEFL Destination Search.

Ten selected students will be provided scholarships valued at $7,000 each.
